Default upgrading to pod filters. Which jetting?

I am upgrading to the uni pod filters basically to not have to deal with the pains of reinstalling the factory air box. I plan on keeping the stock exhaust. Should I use a stage 1 or 3 jet kit? Or what are the recommended main, pilot, needle position, and air screw settings? Thanks in advance

Why not just get a K&N or BMC replacement filter for your stock airbox? (Believe me, I've done the stock airbox removal exercise many times. I'm not sure switching to pods is worth the headache if you can get ahigh-end replacement filter.) IMHO

Are you upgrading your exhaust also? If not, there is NO reason to switch filters. You'll just give yourself an unnecessary headache.

I have no problems with fine tuning the carbs and I think that getting rid of the stock air box will save me more headaches. Since I have bought the bike about amonth ago, I have had to put on and off the stock air box 3 times. It takes me 45-50 minutes and the help of another person each time. Reguarding the exhaust, I am keeping stock right now but most likely will take the baffle out and have my buddy make me a highflow baffle like he did on his zx6r

Depends on which carbs you have. If stock, check a manual or just measure 'em if you don't have access to one. Somebody on this site can probably give you the dimensions or refer you to a diagram. (You might want to buy a manual and/or fiche to have part numbers and such handy, if you plan to keep the bike. IMHO)
Is this for the f4 or the 250? May want to check with the Hondaforum if you're looking for the f4.
