Shift Gears so hard.....
 
Someone, Please help me with my 1999 Ninja 250r the shift gear is so hard to shift...sometimes it won't shift at all.

Let me know what I should do....to fix the problem.

just bought an 250 and i had the same problem, first the clutch cable ws adjusted wrong, and the second was the shifter was kinda rusty from laying. Adjust it, or sometimes just changing oil helps. Try it and let us know.

You can check this link out http://forums.ninja250.org/ I looked around there briefly and it seems that anyone that has been having shifting problems, it's either rider technique or adjustment required to the shift linkage.

Hope you are able to correct your problem! Let us know how you make out :D

how many miles are on it? and you may try to check if the clutch cable is lubricated properly. The clutch cable may also need to be checked down where it meets the transmission.

Is it just the shift lever that is difficult to move or the whole shifting process?

another possibility is that the external shift mechanism is bent.
