Default Wheel Compatibility

Hey Everyone I Just got a 09 250 R Black for the wire. Unfortunately this one is for the wife and i'm getting her 05 250 to learn on while she has the cool looking one. Either way we're new to riding (and its my 1st post here!).

Anyways she wants to have the rims powdercoated. I refuse to do that to the stock rims so i'm looking for compatible rims. What years will bolt up and not give me any problems?

Thanks for the tips!!

88-07 are all the same, and the 08/09 bikes are the same. However the 88-07 are smaller then the 08/09 rims (16' vs 17'). So if you're doing it for the 05 you can find literally tons of rims from past ninjettes to use on the internet. If you're doing the 09 it might be a little harder to find spare rims for them.
