How long did it sit without being ridden?

What is your idle set to when the bike is warmed up?

Have you adjusted you clutch? Can you feel the bike pull forward when your trying to start it in 1st gear after its stalled?

When was the oil changed?

Ok so it happened again on the way home from the gym. Bike nice and warm and I stop at a stoplight. It idles fine but I was kinda wanting it to die to be sure I did not dream the other times. So I give the gas a tiny "blip". The RPMs go from the 1300 idle to around 1600 and start falling back and keep falling to zero. No shake or studder just dies. Started right back up again and I made it home. Should I just take it in because Im only 50 miles away from the 500 mile service anyway? Any guess?

I did take the seat off at the DMV to get my insurace papers out before the first time it happened. Any vacuum line I could have hit putting it back on?

Thanks for any help.

Well you can smash the lines coming off your tank but that would take some effort it can cause running issues if you did.

You didnt answer any of my questions. I can point you in a direction if you do.

That said, tight valves will cause the bike not to idle, this doesnt usually happen overnight though. it will be worse when its warmed up though.

A valve adjustment should be done at the first service along with oil change and clutch and chain adjustment. If its under warranty still you could have them see if they cant figure it out while its there.

Sorry guess I did not see your post for some reason.

1) I ride it every day and it never sits for more than overnight. The first time it stalled I had rode 10 miles or so and it then sat for 30 minutes or so. It stalled less than a mile after that but the guage was a bit over the first slash from cold. That was the when I thought it was low gas. Next 2 times it happened was the same day but I had been riding longer. Fully warmed up.

2) 1300-1400 warmed up

3) Have not adjusted the clutch yet. There might be a very slight pull when trying to start it in gear. If I remember there has allways been a very slight pull. The first time it happened when it would not refire for 30 seconds or more Im pretty sure but not 100% sure I hit N and it still would not fire. The next 2 times Im sure it was in 1st and it did refire right away.

4) I changed the oil at around 100 or so miles so 300ish miles ago. It was full last time I checked it a day or two ago. I will check it again in the morning.

Until today it has never stalled outside of starting it cold in the morning. Even then it starts and stays running most of the time. Anything else you need let me know and thanks a ton for the help. I appreciate it.
