New to bikes got a ninja
i just got a 2001 Ninja 250 and i wanna know..is ther anything that i can do to give the ********* back to this bike that were removed when they decided to drop the 250 into it? maybe new pipes? anything...

You can change the oil, spark plug, adjust the valve to spec,get a muzzy exhaust, and jet the carb. The 2 best things is getting the valves adjusted and carb jetted by someone that knows what there doing. This will bring a lot of life back to the bike.
Yeah, good luck. Persoanlly I wouldn't waste the money unless you where trying to make a track bike for a 250 class. The Ninja 250 is basically a commuter bike and beginner bikewith some sport styling. If you want good gas and a bike to get around town in get a250. If you want a bike to learn on get a 250. If you want a bike to do 200 mph on don't get one.
My 250 is my firststreet bike and I am loving it. It is a great tool to learn on for sure.
