Just went down to Nassau Powerports near Jacksonville, FL and got my new, red, 2009 Ninja 250r. When i first saw this thing, i fell in love instantly. Unfortunately i cant bring it home till next weekend since i had no way of getting it home, but next weekend for sure. I can't wait!

I got mine for 4040 OTD - I live in Vermont though so I'm sure the demand up here isn't as great for the bikes.

 

How many were available? Did you just walk in and walk out owning a 250 or have you been on a waiting list?

 

I was looking for an 08 Ninja when the fax from Kawasaki came saying that there would be no more 08s but each dealership would get 1 2009. The dealership let me put a deposit down on it right then but because I live where I do there was no waiting list for 08s so it's not like I bumped someone off. I don't know if anyone came after me looking for one. I guess it pays to live in Vermont sometimes :-) - Though It's going to suck when I have to put the bike away in a Month :-(
