Talking A jetting success

After my air filter crumbled into a thousand pieces, I decided to do away with the stock airbox and filter and go with pods and a jet kit. I was a bit concerned after reading about all the jetting nightmares and how much I'd have to mess with the carbs and jetting variables Well, took my first ride tonight and it could not have ran any better. I'm extremely pleased. Throttle response was amazing and it pulled from two thousand RPM's to 11,000 RPM's flawlessly. Never has it ran so good. Drilled the slide, and cut the slide spring one twist. Throttle response was amazing and it revved instantly as never before. Big thanks to the forum and to 6Sigma for all the great advise. BTW. decided to drill 4 holes in each muffler right next to the rivets in the end cap. 1/8" holes for a very slight increase in noise. Thanks again for all the info.
