First there has to be a frame to attach them to, which there isnt any part that wont get totally jacked if you put pressure from a slider on it. And there isnt any frame in any location that will do any good to protect your plastics which I bet is what your after.

I know theres a bolt near the kickstand I cant remember where the front one is but its at the bottom of the frame as well. The only stuff in the front is the radiator hoses, exhaustand steering. For the most part the engine is mounted to the tranny which is bolted to the frame in the middle of the bike.
Once you take all the plastics off there really isnt much. The tank is only held on by some rubber bumpers and 2 bolts.

Smaller bikes with less weight require less support I would guess. I swear I ahve seen slider on one before though.

Maybe this will clear things up. They use a diamond chasis which is an early motorcycle frame design. Kawasaki makes some non US models in particular the ZZR250 which uses the other style frame (tubular?? cant remember what its called) which could probably be fitted with sliders.

This is the EX250 frame... pretty basic

i'm not really sure how well this will work out....but ...i don't plan on having passengers, so i was thinking of removing the back foot rests and i know a welder who could maybe weld on some frame sliders....but i don't know much about bikes this being my first, so i don't know how smart or stupid that idea is.

i was actually hoping to keep my leg in case i fall over....i weigh about 110 lbs. so i'd hate my new bike to crush my leg if it fell on me.:)
