this thread is painful to read, but since i'm bored with no life and no bike, all i can do is read here. it's been nearly 2 weeks since the dealer said it would be 2-3 weeks, so i'm going to call them tomorrow or thursday........also anyone have any tips on the test, or taken the permit test already? what type of questions do they ask? stuff you hafta read the book for, or self explanatory stuff.

 

I bought the black 06 last week, and i have to tell you i thinks it looks hot!!!Its actually black with siler/gray tribal decals on the side.I love it.Personally im not a big fan of the green....

 

how does it ride, it will be my first bike and i'm not a big speed freak, buti don't wanna buy a brand new bike then sell it next year for a used bigger bike.

Im still in the break in stage, i have to shift at 4000 rpms until i reach 500 miles.It rides really smooth, i like it because it looks sweet to begin with and not to mention i think its the only crotch rocket on the planet i can sit on and be flat footed.Im only 5'7', but i love it so far.3245 out the door here in Michigan....totally worth it.

 

good stuff, as of now i'm getting a used 500 with about 2300 miles........only costs 3k, so if theirs nothing wrong with it, it's definately worth 3k. probably picking it up saturday or sunday with the rice man if he can make it.
