took my bike to the shop basically the carburator is shot, the mechanic told me it needed to be replaced he said it happened from me leaving the bike out in the winter. he also changed all my fluids. i did also get an opinion from the dealer he told me from my description that my carb needed cleaning at it will be $300. I cant wait to start riding its still cold in NJ.

You are not buying a new carb correct? A carb cleaning for $300 and synched is steep especially for a 250. My opinion. Good luck.

if you cant access the plugs from the side the tank is not hard to pull. just a couple hoses and a bolt or two. plug the hoses though if you take it off lol. go to the dealership and they can print you off instructions if you really cant figure it out.
