I am in Calgary Alberta, and one of the dealerships just got 6 black ones in (one of them is mine) but given the crappy weather and the fact i am not fully licensed yet (taking the bike course in March) they are holding onto mine until i pick it up late march. But I saw one for the first time last week, and they look sweet, I am glad I changed my mind, I was originally planning on getting a CBR 125.
can you post a pic of a cbr 125? i havent been able to find one here in the states, thanks

Here is an 07 CBR 125R. They weren't released in the States for whatever reason. But they only can go about 100 km/h, (I don't know what that is in mph). So that's one of the reasons I decided to go with the 250, and the 125 is quite small almost looks dinky.

I tried to post the pic like 3 times, and couldn't get it to work (I am new at this).

Actually the CBR 125 is great for riding around town actually, so if you were planning on buying a scooter it looks much nicer. But in Calgary the fun riding is to the mountains, and the 125 would have a hard time keeping up with a crowd or even doing the the speed limit on the highway. So with the small price difference (like $1,000) i decided to go for the Ninja 250 instead. So we will see if I am happy with that decision when I actually get to take it for a ride, but i have a feeling I won't be dissappointed.

hey everyone! new guy here. I live in phoenix, az and i recently recieved a call from a kawasaki dealer saying that they recieved a blue ninja 250. So i went and checked it out. well they wanted 4650 for it and would not budge from that. Would you guys consider this an approprite deal. They also offered give me six months with no interested or anything to pay it all off. Any responses would be greatly appreciated. thx

Lol, I would consider that a BAD deal. The dealership here wants 3900 out the door and I dont even think that's a deal.

LOL yeah i kinda figured that. just wanted to get an idea of what everyone else was paying for them. they are the only ones who have one in stock so i guess they wanted to get someone to pay as much as possible for it.what would u say a good OTD price would be? this is will be the first time that i buy a motorcycle...

That price definately seems like a lot. I am in Canada, and I am paying $4700 OTD. And the MSRP for Canada is $4249 vs. $3900 is the US. So you should be paying less than $4650 considering that's almost 1000 above the MSRP. Hope that helps a little.

I'd say you'd want to walk out the door taxes and all around 3800-3900 max.
