2000 Ninja 250 10k miles - $1500
On my way home from my sisters college I was thinking whether to buy a new ninja or buy a used and just as i was thinking I saw a used red/purple 250 on the side of the road. It looked fine with only one very small scratch on the right fairing. The only thing i didnt like was the mileage and the purple. Plus its pretty close from where I live. When I called them up i asked a bunch of question adn one of them was if they were leniant on the price and they said a little. Is it an ok deal?
My 04 has around 7000 miles on it now....yeah I been puttin some miles on it.....so I can sell it....BLAH....anyway sounds like a good deal....

Nope I don't think 10k miles is a lot for that bike....they only put a little more than 1100 miles on it every year....and I put over 1800 on mine in the first two months that I had it.
Make sure it was an adult rider and that they changed the oil etc. Have someone who knows motorcycles well go with you to check it out. I think its a good deal...sounds like they are willing to let it go for less than 1500....blue book says 1900.00. And if you don't like the purple and don't want to spend a lot of money on new plastics....sand em a little and buy that new paint that Krylon came out with that is made for plastics....its supposed to be good stuff...made specifically to bond/adhere to plastic.
