08 250R, Who has one?
Odyssey. I'm so freakin' jealous. That's the EXACT color I want except I want the rear seat cowl. Two brothers is making a V.A.L.E. carbon fiber, black and stainless exhaust for the 250R but it's going to be a while for parts. However, I've heard a few rumors that some of the cosmetics are the same as the 650R so maybe an rear elimation kit for a 650R may work?

From the looks alone u def cant tell..
I was at the dealership yesterday and was comparing it with 600s, the only real difference is that its lighter and slimmer. havent had a chance to really open her up yet but hopefully the weather here will ease up and let me take a vid or 2.
The engine does sound great tho.

I like the pic of your ride ray, looks great.
I just rode a Red '08 home for my daughter. I'm used to a 1400 cruiser, but this little lady had the moves, the power and the looks to turn a lot of heads. I don't think she will get tried of it for a long time. Especially, if it really gets 65-70mpg (over 300miles per tank!).
I wanted her to look at used, but she wanted new. Since this is her 1st bike, dropping $4.3k out the door was much more comfortable than $10-12K on the 6R.
Plus, the insurance on the 250R is high enough for a 19 yo on a first bike. The 6R would have been at least twice as much. And as a college student, she does not have a ton of free accessible cash.

It might get that kinda milage in the city. Mine get high 50's on the first few tanks. Now that I spend most of the time on the freeway 65-75 mph on the speedo. I am only getting 50-55 mpg lucky to get 200 miles out of a tank. 65 mph is 8,000 rpm.
Over all I reall like my bike. Yester day it was 3 weeks old and I have over 900 miles on it!
