Default 06 (And Older) Fender Eliminator <$15

I saw some threads that described the modification of eliminating the rear fender of a ninja 250 (2007 and older of course) to make the back end look sportier.

I was not impressed with the prices of pre made kits online ($50 - $100) so I took a trip to the hardware store. With a drill and a few basic hand tools, you can do this yourself in a couple of hours for less than $15. You do not need to buy additional nuts or bolts, just use the existing ones.

NOTE: I am still working on a way to direct some light from the rear tail light down to the license plate since I removed the old dedicated light.

Hardware:
1) 8"x18" Weldable steel plate $6
2) 2 Pipe clamps $3 (To mount the stock signal lights)
3) 2 "L" Brackets $3 (To mount the side reflectors)

I did notice that if the plate is too close to the tire, it will hit on a bumb though. However I have noticed my rear is a lot lower than it used to be. Am gonna need to adjust the spring most likely.

NOTE: I also had to buy some reflectors that went on the lower license plate holes. They were only a few dollars though. Check your local bike shop. I also eneded up purchasing some LED bolt lights from Kragen (AKA Checker or Schucks) that were the exact same thread as the two bolts in the very back of the bike.

angle the plate outward more, better viewing and will catch the tail light lighting. Looking good.
