New member here. I just bought my first bike. It's a 2001 ninja ex250. I am not sure what's wrong with it yet but I picked it up for a steal of 400 bucks. Well I thought it was a steal so I jumped on it. So far I know the Motor isn't locked up. I think who ever had it let it sit with gas in the carb while storing it. So I'm thinking about rebuilding the carb or buying a new one I haven't decided yet. She had a little damage needs both fairings on either side of the motor needs a new fairing where the headlight is. Other than that once I get it all up and running I think it will be a good beginner bike for me to learn on. Then maybe next summer get me a 600 and really start to have some fun.

If anyone has any extra fairings for sale please let me know.

Hell I've even thought about doing a full rebuild since it's only a few hundred bucks.

I'm an ase certified mechanic but have never worked on a bike so this ought to be interesting.
