Hey Tom, welcome to the forums first of all. There should be someone on here that can help. did you call the shop and tell them what you found out? don't let them get away with a job not done right.

i just took the engine to the shop then when it wouldnt run i took the whole bike the kept it a week and said they had it running good but then it screwed up so it was the same as when i took it to them, they said it was an electrical problem ,but it was running when i first took it apart i checked all electric and grounds, but the kawasaki manual says both cylinders ,due to the releasesshould be 50-85 lb at any rate the front cyl is only 30 lb so i'm replacing both and hope it cures the problem

Replacing the cylinders? There is not much to go wrong on a cylinder as long as the walls are good. if you dont have compression it will be because of a lack of sealing in the chamber. Some possible causes are piston rings, cylinder head gasket, valve seating, bent valves, or timing. There is no amount of electrical problems that will give you bad compression. I'm still gonna go with, they screwed up.
