oil change?

I just changed the oil on my 2006 ninja 250 for the first time @ 550 miles, I used Mobil 1 MX4T 10W-40. Later I needed to top off but could not find anymore of the MX4T and used Valvoline 10W-40 was wondering if this is ok???

not too sure........probably would be okay though, but I could be wrong.

Welcome to the forums....

It is never a good idea to mix oils, brands, weights, MC to non MC, etc......If it was mine, I would do another oil change and put all the same stuff back in there man....

Welcome to KF.I agree with big rig change it and only use mc oil.
