RE: nother newbie
thanks guys!
deej, no easy places to go riding plus not enough storage at home, lol
dragone, yes i did a nut and bolt check but left everything alone, and well yea the hub cushion slipped by me... oopps
got one ordered though,
and yes these are great toys! wish i could have taken the 95 e model, probably would have killed myself tho, it was Way faster and better running... but i love the duals and cheaper price of this one, plus its stock and "un-fooled around with"

have a full muzzy on my '94, and the kleen air mod.. its nasty for being 460 lbs...lol
it, along wit the 93 are in pieces at the moment, but when i get some time, i'll ressurect them for the track and maybe light street andtutoring use.
heavy, yet surprisingly forgiving and nimble.. used to shock my boys on lighter, newer (and bigger!) bikes by killin them in the twisties.. throwing sparks from the peg feelers the whole time.. they'd dust me on the straights, but that was it...lol

RE: nother newbie
well, went to pull the decal off the tank and found a rust hole turned leak,
any quick fixes???
im thinking jbweld, or some 2 part epoxy. its in the left side corner, about 1/4" up from the seam. its exposed metal about 14" round spot and a pinhole about the size of a piece of rice but not as fat.
Got my New front Tire also today, 146. out the door at cycle gear on sr50
got the michelin pilot road 12-60-17 to match the rear 170-60-17 which was new already from prev. owner.
i had to pull the wheel, but they even cleaned up the wheel for me! and did a metal valve stem.
