NOOB

Hey,

I'm new to the riding scene. Just purchased my first bike, a 2007 Kawasaki Ninja 650R. Totally Excited!!!! Been waiting years for this purchase and just graduated college so it's my little own graduation present to myself!

I'm located in Rochester, NY so if anybody from the area is down for riding count me in.

Dan

I was wondering if you experienced guys can give me safety tipson riding.

In the area I'm located only one place offers MSF training. Only few courses are offered each year and man there are a ton of riders and enthusiasts. This makes a problem since the classes get booked a year or more in advance. The courses for this year are booked solid.

With this in mind I definately want to dig into all your brains and get some good advice / tips on safety. I would really appreciate everybodys input. Thanks!

Just one thing. everyone is out to get you, some on purpose, and some by accident. When you accept this as the rule and not the exception then that is the first step in staying alive. Give people plenty of time in front of you, don't be distracted by stuff on the side of the road, cover your clutch and break in traffic and don't go faster that your skill level will allow. Other than that, just get lots of low stress riding experience and advance up to more populated areas when you are ready. Stay safe man.;) Oh and wear ATGATT
