Welcome to the forum!! There are several helmet manufacturers and aftermarket companies which make anti-fog shields. Highly recommended. The "treatment" goo really doesn't last; probably better to invest in a shield.
Your observations are pretty accurate.Gear-up; ride safe.

Welcome to the KF family. Congratulations on the new ride. Make sure you vote in the bike of the month section... the last thing we need is the moles winning again. Good call on the MSF course. You're right, sneezing in a helmet isn't fun. Make sure you're geared up, and try to be as visible as possible. That will help you stay alive. Where did you get the bike from? According to the brochures, the Ninja 500 isn't available in Cali.
