Default new rider from puyallup washington

How are we all doing? I'm new to the whole motorcycle world. I'm going to be taking my MSF in March and will be purchasing my new bike after the course. I was dead set on a new Kawa Ninja 250r, and after the things I've read, and the posts I have submitted (and people responding), I have changed my mind and I'm going w/ the new Kawa Ninja 500r. Piece-by-piece, i'm purchasing my riding gear. I just purchased an airbag jacket off airbagjacket.com. I think I'm going to go with the new Scorpion EXO 1000 helmet. I've heard a lot of good things about a lot of different companies, and I think Arai is too expensive for my tastes. I just want a helmet that is both DOT/Snell Certified. Are there any other riders in the western washington area?

Nice choice on the ride. Choosing your gear is just as complicated at times. Check out AGV helmets as well. Congrats on gearing up.
