New Rider
 

So I am a new rider and obviously new to Kawasaki. I just picked up a 2017 Ninja 650 today. So I am looking forward to learning a lot from everyone here. Got my permit already and I am scheduled to take the safety class in two weeks. So any advice is welcome.

G'day mate. Welcome, from what I hear the 2017 Ninja 650 is a great bike. I had a Versys which shares the same engine awesome bike, reliable, fuel efficient and plenty big enough for a learner.

Advice? Listen, learn and practise what they teach you. Good luck, oh and wear the best gear you can afford.

Thanks! Well the wife and I both completed the MSF this past weekend. We learned a lot. Now she is bugging me to get her a Ninja 300.

Wifey and I are buying gear this weekend so I will start riding more when I get it. I am hesitant to ride without proper gear.
