Just got my bike yesterday 05 ZX-6R 636 Pearl Magna Red, what do I need to start? I purchased gloves and helmet so far.

 

Well for gear, a jacket, but dont get us started on modifiers....most of us here have a modification addiction, im sure you will join this group too. Congrats on the bike, have fun, and welcome to the family.

Just kidding!!!!![8D] Get your gear first. Get use to the bike and then modify what your budget will allow you to.

 

Welcome to the forums! Absolutely mod when your budget allows...theres a few things that you do that is low costs to you. But I would say thi first things to get would be frame sliders and maybe some swingarm sliders too just incase the unthinkable happens.

 

jacket, pants and boots. Set the sag for your weight, no charge if you do it yourself or about 40.00 at the shop. Then the moding can begin.

1- Frame and swing arm sliders.
2- Loose that stock tail and install front flushies.
3- Exhaust or slip on pipe
4- Suspension

hey welcome to the family. is this your first bike? well like nonstock said, get your jacket, pants, and boots. then mod the bike out. gear up and ride safe..............
