Hi all.. new member here.
I just bought a 2009 KLX250S. I was planning to buy used but a local dealer was having a great sale so I figured why not? Based on info online and talking to the dealer, I had the bike rejetted, the airbox snorkel removed and and FMF Q4 installed before I even rolled it out the door.
I've been riding on the street about 20 years, with a few non-bike interruptions. I've had standards and supersports in the past. In short, this little bike is a blast to ride and gives a real feeling of freedom. It feels like there is nothing there at all. I hope to hit some trails/dirt roads and just simply explore. Being able to ride out of my garage, explore, and then ride home again is a huge benefit.
I look forward to checking the threads on here and learning what I can.
