3. What do you do for a living? I write about motorcycles, teach beadwork, and tailor clothing.

7. If you are old enough....what is your favorite "drink"? I'm currently stuck on hefeweisen and syrah.

8. What is your favorite color? Purple

9. Who is your favorite band / favorite CD? Probably Al Green.

10. What is your favorite movie? Dirty Dancing

11. What is your favorite TV show? Golden Girls (case you hadn't figured it out, I'm a girl!)

13. What other hobbies are you into? Beadwork (although that's a profession, really), shoemaking, talkin' mess about yo mama

14. What was your first bike? '86 Honda Rebel 450

15. Who or what inspired you to ride? When I was really young (maybe 6 or 7) I had the good fortune to meet a family friend who was just stopping in for a little while who I think had a Sportster. Finally, when I was 19, I had a boyfriend who rode a BMW K75 who encouraged me to get a license. After that, I noticed that boys really liked girls who could ride... so maybe that's what kept me riding!

LOL, I saw Dirty Dancing and Golden Girls and I started to worry about you till I saw the girl part. Welcome to the forum, how bout some pics of the ride?

 

+1. I love to see the females riding their own instead on the back. It's something I see quite a bit here in GA. Patrick Swayze (RIP) rules. Roadhouse is such a great 80's movie, especially with Sam Elliot (Cohen Brothers used him in Big Lebowski- my favorite movie hence my screen name JT)
Embarassingly, I've probably seen DD 20+ times as a youngster (middle child of 2 sisters...) more than i'd like to admit as a hetero...

I think you'll find this site to be very a friendly one tho, so although I'm a new memb myself, I welcome you, fellow lover of 2-wheelers.

Dragone: But there is lots of good riding in OC! And really good restaurants everywhere. And lots of pretty cars that I could never dream of owning. I can just cruise behind them and listen to their lovely engines.
