New member with 2012 KLX250S. Need help!
 

After scrolling around multiple threads, I decided to finally make an account. I'm from Florida and just recently purchased a 2012 klx250s with 4500 mi on it and I am in love with this machine and riding it on the roads. I'm looking for tips/videos/threads on removing the carburetor. I just got my stage 2 dynojet kit in the mail and should have my two brothers m7 exaust tomorrow. It'll be my first time working on a bike and removing a carb but I know I can do it with the proper guidance and patience haha. So any step-by-steps or tutorials would be greatly appreciated!

^ A good link. I'll add:
- I don't remove the petcock, but I do remove the fuel line from it.
- I don't remove the cables from the carb, but rather remove the cable bracket holder.
- Use a JIS screwdriver, not a standard phillips head.
- Replace the carb's JIS screws with stainless allen head type.

Got it all done and removed the snorkel as well, installed two bro's m7 exhaust and it fired up perfectly. Rode it around the block a bit and it idles, rides, and accelerates beautifully. Can't wait to open it up a bit more tomorrow. Sounds great as I'm coming from a bone stock klx
