Hello,

New guy here to this forum. I am a own a 2009 KLX250S. It now has just over 280 mi. I am trying to keep it under 5K, pretty impossible where I live. I love the bike. I have owned several other bikes including a 2005 KLR 650. I have to admit for the riding I do. I like the KLX much better. Much lighter and it is no sloutch. I have yet to have it past 7k rpms. I cannot wait.

Just wanted to introduce my self. I have mostly rode my bike to work and back. I love that it get ~67 mpg and not even broken in yet. I am ready for the trails.

I live in Boise ID. I live close to some good trail riding.

So far it has been back and forth to work. Just been in the dirt a little. Want to be able to open her up for the trails.

I am getting more familiar with how the forum works. I will check out the FAQ and other info you mentioned.

 

Welcome to the KF family. A KLX is nice, but you know deep down inside that what you really want is one of these!

I have really enjoyed the forum so far. A lot of info and great topics.

Rocket, some day I do want a sport bike again. I wanted something for commuting and riding my local trails. Next bike for sure is a sport bike.
