Default New to Kawasaki forum

Hi All,

Just got an 07 KLX250. I've worked at a Kawasaki and Honda dealer for 6 years and this is my first Kawasaki. So I'm a little slow! I have to say that I have had quite a few new bikes, but I think the KLX has been the most fun I have had with a new bike. I ordered all of the popular carb parts, and of course, the BigGun pipe I ordered is on back order for a month. I can be impatient, so if anyone wants to talk me into adifferent pipe, please chime in.

Glenn

If you really wanna start some more arguing, bring up exhaust in the klx section. I have a big gun, am not happy with it... I would go with the muzzy for the SS pipe, or the HMF. There is a bunch of others out there, two brothers, crd, any full system that fits the klx300 will fit our bike, but HMF is the only slip on that fits with our stock head pipe, if you want to use another slip on you would have to get a klx300 header, the head pipes are different.

Im not gonna say dont buy a big gun, but this is my Big Gun Exo X, with a "Ceramic Coating" my ***... Now i think i have proven that i have the most miles through my pipe, i have 5400 on the bike, and there is about 4K thru the pipe. So take that info for what ever you want. I have seen and herd the big gun, muzzy, and the HMF on our bikes. I would go with the HMF if i were to do it all over again. Cant beat it for the price. if you want a fully system id go for muzzy, but thats just my $.02....
