So I just bought an 05 636 a couple of weeks ago. Been riding mx for a long time thought I might play onthe street again. A few questions, I'm looking for a service manual on cd and I'm trying to figure out how set the shift light. Any help will be appreciated...thanks

 

hey there...welcome to the forums...these guys..and gals...are very helpful. Im sure someone can point you in the right direction here.

 

hold down the mode button until the tach pops up and then use the reset button to adjust your shift light. I think that is how I did mine I will double check as soon as I get home tonight.

 

Sorry first put the key in and turn it to the on position. But do not turn the bike on.

Thanks for the welcome! I checked the tach and it's set at 13,000, probably never see it anyway....atleast for a couple of weeks - ha-ha. Just got an Icon helmet ( Subhuman ) not bad for the money.
