New to the forums
Hey all, my name's Rob, and (yeah i filled the survey out that the Admin apparently hates) lol, but figured i'd just give an idea what i'm doing bike wise. I know everyone has their brand new bike. Or "newer". I for fun just picked up an '85 GPZ 750. Oil leaks, few problems with the chain, sprockets may need switched, but for the most part minor problems. Compression tests on the motor showed no head gasket/seals problems. compression was great actually. But yeah, older look to it, i'll grab pictures given time, glad to be part of the community though.

Robbie, welcome to the forums! Glad to hear you're keeping classic iron on the road. Make sure your tires are either new or recent swaps; if not, check closely for ozone cracks or splits near the rims. Same goes for brake system; fresh fluid (and pads/shoes wouldn't hurt.) Older bikes are GREAT, but do require (IMHO) a complete check-up before getting on the road.
Post up pics when you can. Gear up; stay safe, and welcome again.

New tires on it already, brakes need checked but i need new sprockets on the chain (to make sure the chain isn't worn faster) oil leaks coming from the gear box but i'm pretty sure where that's coming from, just need to take it apart. Here are a few pictures, more up when i get a chance.
