RE: New to the forums
Exactly. I guess I should have mentioned my other bike is V-Star 650 Custom, but I Know this isn't a Yamaha Forum.
I really wanted to buy a Ninja 650r as my first sport bike, but it was too good of a deal to pass up my Ninja 250 for only $1,500.00 and at only 2,400 miles it's not even broken in yet.

RE: New to the forums
I got a great deal on my V-Star (brand new) but I'm honestly not that into it. I wish I could have had a test ride first. I'll end up selling it eventually. However, I have wanted a Ninja for years and even though I am starting with a 250 I am really in love with it so far.
I can't wait to get home from work today, and go riding tonight!

Welcome to the KF family. The Ninja 250 is a grea bike from every account I've ever heard. KB is right, we definately aren't bike snobs here. You can tell that by the number of moles we have infesting the site! Welcome to the slab-**** rebellion!
