OK, I have been riding motorcycles since I was 18 and have been riding on the street since 1983. Yep, a divorce woke me up to street riding. My first street bike was a 1983 Suzuki GS 750ES, this bike pulled so hard at the upper rpms that you had to pull yourself back up on the bike between shifts. My second bike was a 1986 FZ600, light but lacked real hp. I then got into BMW's for the next few years and did the touring thing. In 2001, I purchased a Moto Guzzi V11 Sport, yes you read it right. I love the V twin sound, the vibrations, the Italian charm. Too many Ducs out there, the Moto Guzzi fits what I need. I do the Guzzi thing for the last 4 years and then buy a racier Ghezzi-Brian. This is a hand made Italian racer that uses a Moto Guzzi engine. I did a track day on the Ghezzi and loved it. At the replacement cost of $23,000 US dollars, I decided to look for another track bike. Thinking of a SV650S (keeping in the Vtwin thing), I sat on a ZX6R at the Moto GP Race at Laguna Seca. My mind was made up. Now I have had my ZX6R for almost two months and love it!
