My 2006 Ninja 650R does not respond

Even with a brand new battery (which reads a perfect 12.6v on multimeter), my 2006 Ninja 650R does not do ANYTHING when attempted to start. I bought a brand new battery thinking the previous battery was defective but now, there's not even a sign that the bike is alive. Not even the lights are turning on when I turn the key. No clicking or nothing either.

Please suggest something because if I tow it to the nearest Kawasaki dealer, I'm sure I have to bend over and take the whole thing coz there's no warranty.

Here are the things I tried:
Checked all the fuses
Checked the voltage on the battery
Tried hooking up the battery connectors to a car battery

No use :(
Please suggest something.

Here's the history:
I moved from Pittsburgh, PA to San Jose, CA this April so that I can ride my bike all year around and enjoy this weather but that dream is still a dream since the bike won't start.
11/2009 - Bought the bike used
05/2010 - Replaced the battery because it was dead after not using bike during winter. Also the bike would be connected to a battery maintainer during winters from that time.
04/2014 - Tested that the bike starts and runs fine before shipping to San Jose, CA which costed me $800 :(. My friend received the bike but the bike was not connected to a maintainer for a month
05/2014 - I tried starting the bike but I believe the battery drained because the lights would turn on but when I press the start key, all I hear is clicking. I hooked it up to the maintainer over night and the "bike started" the next day but it drained by the night :(. So I took out the battery to get a replacement.

06/2014 - Put the new battery into compartment but no signs of life what so ever!

Are the grounds good? Both wires are connected to the battery ground?. I normally see two wires going to the battery terminal, the main ground and a harness ground on my other bikes.
