Default 1984 gpz 900

I just bought a 1984 gpz . The bike runs real strong, but when I got it warmed up and then I shut it off it dont want to start back up until it has cooled down. I dont know the reason. It will fire right up after it gets cold and been sitting for a while . Has anybody had this problem

Thank you. It was the battery. I had a new battery so I took it to the shop and the battery was a bad 1. I replaced it and it runs like new.
