Well I'm new to the whole bike scene, and am excited that I'm finally getting one. I am picking up my 1991 ninja 250 this week and have a ton of questions. Hope I'm in the right place. Thanks in advance. Jay

Welcome Jay, the 250 is a great starter. This is a great place for Q&A and some off topic fun.

Ride safe.

Thanks for all the welcomes. Where do i go to take the riders course? I also know that the 250 was not equiped with stabilizers. But, can you get them for the bike or am I just stuck? Thanks again.

Jay, Welcome to the bike forum. Have fun ridding and don't get too worried you'll pick it up in no time and will want to get a bigger cc bike. I have a 500 Kawasaki Ninja and I want a 636 soooooo bad but I am leaving CA soon and don't think I just want to put her in storrage for a while. The MSF class helps a lot just take your time on the road. ;)
