Welcome to the KF family. My wife has been riding almost as long as you have. I highly recommend the MSF course. It makes a big difference, especially for beginners.

Don't worry - I took the MSF course and got my license before buying the bike.
I'll post up some pics soon! It's nothing special, though. Just the black 250R... all I did so far was remove the flames and shave the seat to accommodate my short legs.

Great choice for a first bike,too bad these young guys don't follow your lead and start small and move up from there once the confidence and experience is there

Hi everyone...i was here awhile back, worrying about what to purchase...well i did get a bike--(new)--yamaha 650 v star...lol I absolutely love it -glad I bought new..lol and happy I got the credit...I ride as much as I can, havin a blast,,,I even did a charity run,,a little nervous, yes, but fun..Im glad there are women riders, by me we have quite a few,,getting to know some,,and the guys are just as nice..I guess it's a rider thing...GOOD LUCK TO ALL AND BE SAFE,,OH YEH AND HAVE FUN,,,
