hi scrapping bike need advice
hi i am here for my 21yr old son who has had a zx6r a 99 plate for 2 yrs, but he he was about to have it sprayed so i said get a service first make sure she is ok before spending to much money on it.
so he did came back that the bike has bent wheel the wont say if the frame is bent but it rides wobble. my son has never had a problem with it but he has been on a test drive of a zx9r and it is much better no wobble.
so to cut a long story short he will buy another bike for his safety and my peace of mind {wise boy}
so what is the best way to sell the bike for bits as i don't want anyone else's kid riding it either ?
he has a private plate k600 mrm this must be worth a couple of quid to the right person any ideas where the best place to sell is as i thought if he sells the reg nobody can put it on the road in the state it in
ideas please, thanks

Welcome WMO. If you're looking to part out a bike, you might list it in our classified section; probably some guys on here who would be interested in typical items, like starter, alternator, ECU, and for the track guys: Engine, tank, plastic, frame. There are some other sites specifically for the ZX6 I'm sure, but please give us a chance first. Specify "parting out" and that should narrow the list of those interested to parts.
As for the ZX9, i've had my '95 for over 10 years and still love it. It's a great everyday ride that requires minimal maintenance when taken care of. We can help with advice and probably diagrams when needed.
Again, welcome to the forums. Let us know how we can help, OK? Tell your son to always wear his gear and to stay safe.

WM, where is "here?" I'm in Ohio, and laws vary from state to state and country to country. Let us know "where" and likely someone (on this forum) from your geographic area can offer advice.
Again, welcome. Post some pics of the 9 when you bring her home!
