Hey

Hey all,
New to this site, but not new to riding (about 25 years.)
Own a '95 ZX9 and a 71 H1-B triple (and a Husky 400, but that's another story.) You all already know the early ZX9's are porkers, but there's something about that bike I really like. Yeah; I've ridden the new stuff: Gixxers, R-1's, even Duc's, but the old fat 9 is just so darned predictable. I also like it because it doesn't look like some oversized letter opener! I have no delusions of being Scott Russell (the last real Kaw hero) and I don't do stupid crap on the street; I'm 47, not 18. (I'm also not some overweight wank who oughtta be on a Gold Wing. I got my provisional race license on a CB750F Honda, years ago.)
I got my 9 from a scrap yard in '97. (Don'tlaugh just yet.) It's now lime green, chrome wheels, Ohlins, carbon fiber hugger, Harris rearsets, polished frame, jet-kitted/pipe, Corbin seats, custom radiator (hand built/brass; no fan anymore!) and etc. I'll post a pic shortly. I think it looks pretty good for where it came from.
Anyway, glad to be aboard. If I can help anybody, I've turned a wrench or two; just send me a post or e-mail.
