Hello, New to the Forum
 

Excited to join and get some good advice on what I need to do. Wasn't more than a few weeks ago I recieved a 1985 Ninja GPZ900 with about 16000 miles it it at no charge. Only issue is that I was going into this blind with no history of the bike, no title, or any past experiences with Kawasaki. I am running into a few issues. When looking up a service manuel for this bike im getting a bunch of different models and im not sure which one I should choose. Since the battery was hooked it to a new battery and evrything lit up only thing that didn't work was the starter... (need to do more tinkering) couple fuses missing. Also, I have already rebuild the carbs and to take precausiton ive been cycleing a batch witches brew i made through the engine which seems to be working well a little trick ive came across working on shed spoiled cars to get the rust/gunk out. The inside of the engine wasn't rusy as far as I could tell.

Little about my self, Im a driver manager for a trucking company and work a crazy schedule, but on my off weeks I am usually doing small repairs on cars/trucks or doing car audio install for myself. looking forward to getting advice and will have pictures soon.
