Newb here Newb question
Hey guys just picked up an 06 plasma blue zx-6r. Love it. Never really ridden before except my friends 07 650r a couple times. I was supposed to take the MSF basic last night but it was canceled which sucks because this would have been perfect timing since my bike just got here today. Ive tinkered with alot of cars currently have a 06 sti and a 94 civic with a b18c1 as a daily so im excited to delve into the world of riding.
Anyways the front left low beam seems to be out. Anyone know of an article or to replace it or can explain it to me? What tools do I need? What bulb # and can I buy it at the local auto store? Thanks
edit...looking at it..it looks like one side is for low beam and the other for high beam since its two different bulb styles. Right?

Welcome to the forums. Until you can get into the class, I would be very careful, ride within your skill level and avoid heavy traffic. You will find a great wealth of awesome information here and soon you will come to enjoy the family atmosphere that permeates throughout the forums. Again welcome and please stay safe and have fun.

Just curious.....how many times have you guys laid your bikes in the first few months? I already did 3 times granted it was less then 5 MPH. Really embarrassing in front of my neighbors but exciting to pick it back up and try again.

In 10,000 miles, I've dropped mine once going less than 5 and it was frozen rain half way to my 2 mile commute to work. That's not too bad I guess considering where I take my bike on a regular basis.

I haven't ever on a streetbike, currently with 15,000 miles in. Be careful man.

I still fall down on the dirt and on the track on occasion. Not much of an excuse to be falling down on the streets. Get comfy with your ride and know your limitations. At least you are ok and hopefully learned something in your new found experiences.

Yea im being real careful. I fell down starting on a hill or an incline. Just didnt give it enough acceleration and the bike tipped one way or the other. Gonna go practice again right now. I only ride around my local neighborhood nothing with any stoplights yet.
