Greetings from Atlanta
Hello everyone.
I'm Eljan, you can call me Josh too. I just picked up my first bike today. I have some motorbike experience, but not with a clutch and so on. I hope to get riding soon. But, I wanted to introduce myself and say hey to the other ZX6 riders out near the ATL or nearby area. I'm so new I don't know how to fasten my helmet(to feed the strap.) I have a lot of confidence in my mechanical driving ability that I should grasp riding the bike pretty quick. Only time will tell at this point. Hope to be active before next year. Thanks for taking a look at my post. :D:D:D |
Congrats on the ride and welcome to KF.
Get comfy with the new ride and of your gear. |
Welcome, Josh. (Dang...I wanted to call you "Bob.") :D
Congrats on the 6-er. TAKE YOUR TIME and re-learn the physics involved in handling your ride. If it's been a few years, (please) don't assume you can just jump on and it will all "come back." A ZX6 has more than enough juice to get you in trouble very quickly. Sorry to sound like your parent, but I've seen it happen too many times. Remember: Don't go any faster than you can stop or escape. This rule will save your butt. Very glad to have you with us. Keep us posted; let us know how you're doing. (...and post a pic or three, Bob!) ;) |
Welcome to the forums. Thats weird you posted 3 times in this thread but it still shows your post count as 1......hmmmm As far as the strap goes, take your helmet to a bike shop and have a quick release installed. on and off in 1 second. ;)

Thanks for the welcome guys. It's nice to have such a great welcome. I hope to grow fast as a rider. Glad to have this forum to come to with any questions.
