where is a good place to find frame sliders for my 97 zx7? and what should i cut the farring with? anyone that may have some pics to help me refrence where i should cut, could you send pics to jbrewst5@nycap.rr.com.....thanks

 

Use a dremal to cut your fairings, start small and work your way out untill you have an 1/8 all around the slider.

 

Local shop usually carries all kinds. +1 on the dremel and take your time. Another good tip is use a standing laser pointer ( I used my cats's laser pointer for 3 bucks! ) and line it up where your going to mount the slider. Put the plastic back on and mark the dot. Take a deep breathe and shave away!

 

I have not used sliders on my 7. Even after a 90mph + tumble at the track. Frame was all good, but lost every single piece of race glass on her though. 4-5 foot endo's will do that at times.
