First oil change for 2023 KLX300sm
Hi all,
** New rider, first-time motorcycle owner, motorcycle noob **
I want to do a first oil change on my new 2023 klx300sm. The bike only has ~100miles on it but the oil is already looking pretty murky and I'm sure is full of shards.
I was told to get the break-in oil out of there pretty quickly, and honestly I don't mind doing more frequent oil changes if it means my bike will run smoother (and overall healthier).
Just wanted to confirm that I am indeed picking the correct oil -- Kawasaki KPO conventional 4-stroke engine oil 10W-40. I will also replace the oil filter with a new OEM filter.
Will I be good with replacing the oil with the above one?
