what? an ex500 smoking a katana 600? nah

anyways, look in the classifieds here for that 500.

 

Katana's are rediculously slow. I do know that a Katana 750 can't keep up with a Ninja 600 or a CBR600RR. I'd put my money on the 500R, especially in the twisties.

 

hmm, trying to remember here. My '88 ninja 750 had the best over a vfr. The '90 zx7 could best most of the '89 gsxr1100's. The katana's on the track were few and far between during the early '90's.

 

A buddy of mine had a stock '00 GSXR600, and he smoked a 750 Katana. Of course, that was in my younger stupider street racing days, not at the track.

 

I have whooped a few kat 750's on the zzr. They are SLOW.

 

Thanks for all the information, I'll defiently keep that in mind. Some more information about the bike is it's a 2004 with 22 miles, has some aftermarket parts such as the exhaust, and the owner I know personally and he always lowers the price of his things after a month. But I will defiently look into the 500 and the ZZR 600.

uhhh the klx 250 will smoke allll of the above (in the woods of course) your sitting more up right, more visiable, more COMFTORABLE annnd it sells for a whopping 4700 brand spankin new! sooo thats just me.... but if i was going to get a street bike i would probably get something in the 600 range.... I would probably out grow the 250R in about a month.... i dont know, there all fun!
