Back on the dirt!
Well, after a 9 year hiatus from bikes, due to the birth of our daughter, Im back! My first bike was a KE100 when I was 10 years old. I rode that thing on trails and the street, to Jr High and High School..until I got a car then the little KE sat until I traded it off for my first street bike at 19. So I had a great 20 year stretch of street riding. I taught my wife to ride not long after we got married and she rode her own bike with me for 10 years. But after my daughter was born in 2009, we sold off our stable of 4 street bikes and I haven’t said a peep about motorcycles since then......until now. 
So here we are, 9 years later and I surprised the family with 3 bikes. Since my first bike was a Kawasaki, I thought it was appropriate to return to the dirt on a Kawasaki and my daughters first bike is also now a Kawasaki.
I just picked up a KLX110 (daughter’s) KLX140 (wife’s) KLX250 (Mine) yes, its a dual sport but I wanted the extra versatility
My wife can already ride and Im teaching my daughter how to ride. Its going to be a long process as I want to do it right.
Looking forward to spending time on the Kawasaki forum and getting some brush ups on dirt riding.

Back at it. Progressing slowly (on purpose) but nicely. Still starting in second gear with the beginner throtte limiter screw all the way in. The goal is to keep her confident and comfortable.

Thanks! Happy to be here. Yeah it was cool enough to justify the extra $300.00 I really like it. I also like that they blacked out the rims and fork tubes as well. Nice touches to what is basically an entry level bike. Props to Kawasaki.
Im just geeky enough to have found a matching set of pants and jersey. Totally tacti-cool!

Makes me think of the guy who went hunting with a camo cover for his ATV. Was out a bit late, got dark, couldn't find where the ATV was. Had to go back the next day to get it.
