Default automatic bikes? exist? sorry

sorry if i **** anyone off, but i am really interested in knowing if they make bikes in automatic.... maybe like a seadoo or skidoo... with just a lever that you pull back.

lemme know if anyone has come out with that, if i get a bike, i would want that. p.s. i drive a stick g35 and share an 07 Z06 vette with my brother... but i think i would have more funon a bike not having to shift.

thanks in advance for the info

Welcome to KF. The only one I know of is the old Honda-matic.

Welcome to the forum. They sre out there, but I don't know what they are.You can have fun with shifting though, a well timed downshift gives a good boost of speed.

Ahh, the ole Hondamatic. No clutch. Just shift.

Yamaha FJR1300AE is an electric shift. There is a switch on the left handlebar to shift.

I have the CM400A that I have been putting back together. I think that all rides from late 80's to now on lets say are sweet in their shifting.

I run centrifigals in my karts, but shifting a ride to me is way more fun to put the power to the ground.

Welcome to the forums.

not trying to be mean but have you ever seen that 650 scooter made. I've seen one up close and no offense guy's it moves pretty good. It's not like those other scooters you see out there with a bunch of cars behind them all pissed off. here's a pic

I have a 1978 Hondamatic 400 that I am looking to get rid of for parts. Not running.

It was my dad's- rode it a few times. Kind of goofy to get used to. It has a 2 speed trans with the motorcycle version of a torque converter and (obviously) no clutch. You could start from a stop in either gear but in 2nd it was a leisurely rate of acceleration. Where the clutch lever is on other bikes, it had a parking brake to keep it from rolling when parked on a grade.

There was also a 750 version that Honda made at the time.
