I have gone 1700 miles on the bike so far. when I hit 1k miles... I switched to Synthetic, and OMG going above 6k is FUNNNNNNNN! Currently my bikes in her basement... next month I'll prep it for winter storage down there... heated finished basement... her bike will be down there too... I told her to advertise some more spots for other bikers... make a little money from it... pretty nice way to start off the winter.

(Insert here: Obvious precautions about prepping a bike for winter storage in a heated basement.) I say just get out there and ride. Anybody can ride in 70 degrees and sunshine!!!
