I got a 2000 kx80....took off the top end to inspect and it does have a tiny sctrach in the cylinder wall from a corner of a ring. It hasn't been seized and the scratch is so shallow you can only feel it with your finger nail. Do you guys think it's worth installing a new piston set and running it or does the collective think I need to part it or save up for a clean used cyl? The rest of the liner is in perfect condition. Oh, and the scratch doesn't got all the way from tdc to bdc, it's only starts about halfway down the pistons stroke.
