06-07 engine in a 09 klx 250

Would a klx 250 2007 engine fit inside of an 09? They’re both American versions/carbed, so they should be compatible?

OUCH! What the heck happened?

The engine should be a bolt in, wiring likely should be the same.

have no idea. Transmission came loose and hit the sidewall. You’d think it’s gonna be an easy swap?

Probably no different from doing an engine rebuild... Unbolt, bolt new engine in.... button it up.
