I always learned something from your post about the klx. Haven’t seen any post in a while. Are you still riding?

I have been reading old posts about klx250 timing but I don't think I quite understand. I just put new shims in my bike and accidentally rotated the fly wheel with a socket before putting the tensioner back in. The chain jammed up. I rotated it a little backwards and my next step is to put the cam chain tensioner in and then try rotating. But will the timing be out? Could I have skipper a tooth?
